Below is a list of the costumes for the 2002 Halloween party, divided by player.
Long, green-streaked white hair flows down this woman's back. Her eyes glimmer an intense jade green over the top of a light sea-green, gauzy veil, hung with beads of varying shades of green and blue. Her gown is lighter and thinner than silk, almost see-through, a muted shade of light blue-green, clinging to her slender figure. The dress has no waist nor sleeves, with only thin 'spaghetti' straps holding it on. The silver-edged hem ends at the top of her bare feet. Silver threads spiral upwards across the thin fabric of the gown, twisting and intertwining in misty shapes, forming all kinds of not-quite-pictures, like smoke or constellations, or swirls of water. Her neck and arms are bare; she wears no jewellery, save for a glowing golden band, set with a single blue-green gem, on the ring finger of her left hand.
This person's costume is made to represent a flamingo. His legs are encased in white stockings, and his feet in white moccassin-style shoes. The base of his costume consists of a vivid pink silk tunic, with knee-length breeches of a slightly darker pink satin beneath. The sleeves of the loose, baggy tunic billow out, with a sort of fringe of bright pink threads, with tiny gold bells dangling from them, running down the length of the wearer's arm. A high, stiff collar, with a black lace edge, surrounds the becostumed person's neck, framing his face, which is hidden behind a full-face mask. The mask consists of a large yellow, orange, and black striped beak, in the style of a flamingo's beak, and the rest of it is covered with hot pink feathers. The eye holes are rimmed with tiny black beads.
The wearer of this costume could be either male or female, for the costume consists of several pieces of light, gauzy material, in myriad shades of greens and purples and silvers, draped over each other and the person. The impromptu tunic/skirt that this creates flows down to midway up the person's shins, below which their legs are sheathed in light green, silky tights, ending in a pair of sage and lavender streaked slippers, very flexible (like jazz shoes), with the toes curling up into a pixie-like point. From the back of the becostumed Lounger sprout a pair of wings, flimsy pieces of sparkling sea-green and lavender marblised silk, draped over a pair of silver wire frames. The person's face is hidden beneath what must have been dozens of pots of paint, carefully applied to the skin to create an effect rather like a kalliroscope, swirling, dizzying patterns of green and silver and purple. Around the eyes, which are, by the grace of contact lenses, one dark purple and the other dark green (left green, right purple), are rings of glittering silver, sliding down the cheek into a small teardrop-shape, one glittering diamond tear under each eye. The person's mouth is as colourful as the rest of the face, the upper lip being a light green and the lower a lavender.
She wears an ancient Greek style of outfit, a tunic of light, white fabric, which ends at her knees, belted by a dark green rope. Her legs are bare, with no trousers or stockings of any kind, and on her feet she wears a pair of hemp sandals. The tunic's sleeves are virtually nonexistent, it being a tank-top style, and wound around of each of this person's arms is a silver band, spiralling up the length of her upper arm, like twin snakes. On her back is a quiver of dark green leather, with several green- and black-fletched arrows in it. She holds a long bow, though whether or not the costume-wearer can actually use the bow is uncertain. Her hair is a green-tinted shade of black, probably dyed, and wound up into a very Grecian style. She doesn't wear a mask, but her face is hidden behind facepaint, a rather stylised look with jagged green slashes, like lightning bolts, across a black and white harlequin-esque pattern - the final effect is one that must've taken ages to apply.
This costume is obviously meant to depict a human skeleton, as it consists of a black, mock-turtleneck, long-sleeved unitard with glow-in-the-dark greenish-white bones painted on it in a surprisingly anatomically accurate fashion. The shoes are black tap shoes, the tap parts painted black, with the glow-in-the-dark bones painted on the tops. Black satin evening gloves go over the person's hands, painted, like the rest of the costume, with the bones in glow-in-the-dark greenish-white. The mask is a skull, in shape as well as in appearence, and might actually be the skull of some large, apparently human creature, slid over the head of the one who wears this costume.
Resplendent in a crimson velvet jacket over a black, garibaldi-sleeved shirt, with off-white pantaloon-style trousers ending, at his knees, in tight black stockings and shiny black buckle shoes, it's quite obvious that this man is meant to be a pirate. The black velvet tricornered hat perched on top of his head, decorated with gold lace, helps, as does his mask, which is a metal, face-shaped version of the infamous 'skull and crossbones' flag of the pirates, with his eyes staring out of the eye holes in the skull, and the slit for him to speak and breathe through hidden in the crossbones. At his waist is a gold belt, from which hang two scabbards, each fancier than the other in gold-pressed leather - one is for a sword, with an elaborate gold basket hilt emerging from it - the other is shorter, and for a knife with a gold crosshilt with a dark red pommel stone.
A large piece of black fabric, something satin-like but even heavier than satin, hangs over this person like a poncho, with a hole for his head. Bright green ribbons hang from the edges of the cloth, dangling to touch the ground. Below the robe/poncho, he is wearing loose, baggy trousers, the left leg dark green and the right dark red. His shoes are simply black tap shoes. His face makeup consists of white greasepaint as a base, lots of green glitter around his eyes, and blood red lips. On his head is a black and dark-green striped hood, unattached to the poncho.
This costume quite simply consists of a pure white unitard, with long sleeves, legs, and a turtleneck collar. The unitard is covered entirely in sparkling silver and white crystals, which overlap so that no part of the unitard is not covered in the gleaming gems. Over the unitard she wears a short wrap-around skirt, like that which dancers wear, of silvery-white chiffon. The skirt has the same shining silver gems sewn to the elastic waistband, but other than that is just sheer cloth. The costume wearer's shoes are very shiny silver slippers, like something out of The Wizard of Oz, and she's wearing white satin evening gloves with tiny silver bells sewn on the wrist. Her face is painted white, with silver glitter tracing a Celtic-knot sort of pattern across it. Her hair, which is pure white with silver strands running through, and is probably a wig, is done up in an elaborate knot, tied with a silver wire.
The face of the woman wearing this costume is left mostly the same, but has strange lines painted in black and red over it, like embroidered seams. Her face has also been altered slightly so that she's not recognisable as her normal self, whoever that should happen to be. The makeup on her face also includes bright red lipstick, red spots on her cheeks like that one might find on dolls, and long, somewhat fake looking black eyelashes, over eyes which are black from edge to edge, with no distinction between 'white', iris, and pupil, and very shiny, like beads. Her hair is black and long, falling just past shoulder length in a stiff, wooly braid. The actual clothing part of her costume is a dress, a sort of pinafore with a short skirt and a blouse under a ruffly apron-top. The pinafore is dark red, with tiny pink flowers, and the blouse is white. Her legs, neck, and arms - and, in fact, every visible patch of skin - have been made up the same way as her face, with the stitched look. On her feet are a pair of black Mary Jane shoes, and her hands are covered with black wool mittens, so that her thumbs can move on their own but the rest of her fingers are held together.
It's quite easy to figure out what _this_ costume is meant to represent; it's basically a suit of shining silver armour, nothing more and nothing less. From the gleaming helmet, with it's scarlet plume, to the pointy-toed silver boots, which must be a pain to walk in, the costume is obviously a knight. He holds a sword and shield, like all good knights; the sword is a long, silver broadsword, and the black iron hilt has a dark red pommel stone. The shield is motley - right side scarlet, left side grey, with the central image a blood red hawk, wings outstretched in flight.
This costume consists mainly of a midnight blue, form-fitting silk gown, long and elegant, with tight long sleeves, with tiny white and silver sequins sewn on all over, probably to represent stars. Black satin evening gloves with the fingertips cut out bedeck her hands - her fingernails are painted white - and on her feet are a pair of black formal shoes, with high, stiletto heels. A short cape, about waist-length, is fastened at her neck with a silver Celtic knot, embedded with a diamond. The cape is velvet or something like it, a gloss-less black. Her face makeup consists of all-over white greasepaint, with dark, blue-grey smears across her eyelids and black lipstick. Her hair, which is probably a wig, is very sleek and very long, falling to her waist in a mass of glossy black silk.
This is a combination costume, a horse with two people in it, one in each end. The horse is made of smooth, dark brown leather, the body being hollow to fit the wearers into it. The head is held on a stick, moved by the person in the front half. The hooves are actually shiny black shoes, with white spats as the horse's 'socks'. The eyes are black shiny buttons, and the mane is made of black yarn.
This costume is a tawny, faux fur catsuit, with black rosettes embroidered on in a jaguar-fur pattern. The hands and feet of the person wearing the costume are gloves, furry paws with sharp retractable claws attached. The jaguar's tail twitches with a life of it's own - it's movable by the person inside the catsuit. The head of the jaguar is made by a Cats-style wig, long tawny fur with black rosettes, and full-face makeup, goldenrod with a stylised black pattern over it.
This person is most definitely male, wearing tight black leather trousers and no shirt. On his feet are a pair of black motourcycle boots, and protruding from the seat of his pants is a thick, twitching, spaded tail, which appears to move of its own accord, like a black leather snake. Rusty iron chains around his wrists seem to have been broken off of something; the same around his ankles. His hair is dark red with streaks of black, wild and long to his shoulders, with small, curved, scarlet horns embedded in the top of his skull. He also wears a black leather jacket, open in the front to reveal his naked chest, and black leather motourbiker gloves. Held in one leathern-gloved hand is a lengthy iron pitchfork, a glowing black-red, like the metal tines have been heated. His face is neither painted nor masked, but seems to have a permanent, impenetrable shadow over it, so one cannot tell who he is. Out of this shadow gleam a white-fanged grin and a pair of slit-pupiled red eyes.
In a pair of light green trousers, and an offwhite, rather greyish turtleneck, it might be difficult to tell what, exactly, this person is supposed to be costumed as. Perhaps the face makeup, designed to have the effect of all sorts of nasty facial and dermatological diseases, and completely concealing the person's identity, may help. Or you might be helped by the sign hanging around his neck, which has on it the universal symbol for death - a skull and crossbones. His shoes are sneakers, white rubber painted over with a slick, sticky-looking transparent green paint.
Mr. Smiks' costume consists of a full-body, glossy, black metal suit of armour, formed in three pieces - legs, a breastplate-type of thing around his torso, and a helmet, with metal mesh grids across the giant eyeholes, and wire antennae waving on top. His arms are covered in black metal gauntlets, as well, and his hands in similar metallic gloves - but all of this shiny black metal seems oddly flexible.
The wearer of this costume is either female or a drag queen; she's wearing a short-skirted dress made of layers of fabric, different opacity on each, with the topmost cloths being sheer, lacy gauze, and the bottom layer being totally opaque. All of the fabrics are shades of orange, gold, red, yellow, brown, bronze, copper, and so on, and most are very sleek and shiny. The skirt is full, despite ending above the female's knees. Her legs are bare, as are her feet. Her upper body is attired in a tight, leotard-like, velvety copper shirt, with a low-cut, V-shaped neckline, and sleeves which are tight until a sudden flower-like flair at the wrist. In her bronze-hued bob, a sort of diadem of thorns rests; her face is concealed behind a mask shaped like a maple leaf, a reddish gold-brown in shade, like an autumn leaf, with her light gold eyes peering out between the 'fingers' of the leaf shape. The stem of the leaf runs down her neck and twists around it, holding the mask on to her face.
This person is wearing a very formal tuxedo, which is not the usual black-and-white, but rather dark blue-grey and a lighter, dusty steel blue. The dark part is made of some very soft, smooth cloth, almost frictionless feeling. The lighter parts of the outfit are heavier and glossier, more like satin. The costume wearer's shoes are fancy boots, of some soft, dark grey-bluish leather. His hands are covered in kid gloves of the same shade, and his upper face is hidden behind a half-mask of black stone. The shiny stone, possibly onyx, has streaks of blue, like lightning bolts and clouds, running across it.
This person, female, is wearing a long, form-fitting gown of pure white, almost-but-not-quite transparent cloth, with sleeves that are tight until the elbow and then flair off. The skirt, too, flairs at the hem. She also wears silver, shiny shoes, like tap shoes, and on her head is a foot-long, white & silver, spiralling horn of some hard plasticky-metal, warm to the touch, and glowing slightly silvery. Pinned around her face, revealing only her wide, dark teal eyes, is a veil of silver-traced, sheer white fabric.
This costume is worn by a person of the masculine persuasion. It consists of a glow-in-the-dark off-white unitard, with long legs and sleeves and a mock turtleneck. Decorating the unitard are tiny, darker white splotches, like the craters of the moon. His shoes are jazz shoe-types, white. On his hands are thick woolly white gloves, and his face is painted white, with each eye, his nose, and his mouth surrounded by greyish paint, like the craters of the moon.
The main part of this female person's costume is a very simple, long white gown, more like a piece of cloth with a belt than anything; it's your basic Ancient Greek Women's Tunic, with a gold-embroidered hem and no sleeves. A gold rope serves as an Empire-type belt around her ribcage. Her shoes are shimmering golden Greek-type sandals, with a pair of tiny gold wings on each heel. Her face is covered by a very brightly shining golden mask, your typical Grecian Drama mask of Comedy, although she has, hanging from her golden rope-belt, another mask, identical but of Tragedy, that she can switch at a moment's notice. Her hair is dark brown, rather curly, bound up in a style typical of Ancient Greece, held by golden wires.
This male is wearing a bright scarlet, vinyl jacket, open to reveal the fact that he hasn't got a shirt on under it. In addition to the jacket, he's wearing tight black leather pants, very shiny and, well, tight. The trousers may be black, but they're quite glossy and reflective, almost like a mirror, and when he moves, a flicker of firelight may be seen reflected in them. His shoes are dark red leather boots, with gold laces, that stop at his knee. On his hands are dark red leather biker gloves, with bright gold studs. On his face, and, in fact, his torso as well, is a very strange makeup job - red, gold, and yellow smeared like flames beginning, apparently, in his pants and heading up his face to his hair, which is bright crimson and spiked.
The little kitten is dressed up to look like one of the Nibelungen dwarves of Richard Wagner's famous Ring Cycle of operas, in an infant-sized dark orange tunic, with a frayed hem, ragged short sleeves, and a lowish, square collar. Around his waist is a small golden band, big enough to be a bit loose on him. The band is etched into a kind of scalloped shape, with pictures of flames dancing across it. More gold jewellery can be seen all over him - anklets, bracelets, a chain around his neck, and some hoop earrings in his feline ears. Clutched in one small hand is a minitaure, black leather whip.
This girl is wearing a semi-unitard, composed entirely of velvet with short sleeves. The right side of the upper portion is black, with the right side crossing over it, and midnight blue. The blue comes to a downwards point at the waist, and the lower portion and back of the outfit are black velvet. All over the outfit are tiny diamonds, glittering like stars across a night sky.In addition to this, she wears silver satin, fingerless gloves that come up past the shoulder to under the sleeve. On top of these, she is wearing silver, blue, bronze and red braclets. On her feet are simple black jazz shoes. The last visible article of clothing is her cloak, of which the collar is stiff and black, but the cloak itself is a barely-there iridescant gauze that swirls about her like mist. Her hair is black and shaggy, shot through with strands of pure white. She is wearing black lipstick and eyeliner, over pale face makeup. Her eyes are purely black, except where the pupils should be, where there is a reflective patch that appears to be the earth's moon. Some sort of makeup causes wet-looking streaks down her cheeks, as though she'd been crying.
This person - it's impossible to tell what gender they are - is wearing, simply, a long, black, hooded robe. The fabric, whatever it is, is very heavy, hanging down far past the tops of their black boots. The wearer's hands are unseen as well, gloved in dark grey gloves with creepily long, pointed fingers, not claws, but the actual finger - like something from a bad dream. The hood is pulled far enough back that you can see their face - or would be able to, were they not wearing a mask. It looks completely like a human face, but for the one small fact that it is entirely mirror. Perhaps it is a one-way mirror, for it is totally without eyeholes.
This guy is wearing an odd outfit, the main part of which is a heavy cloak that envelopes him almost entirely. It seems made for cold, windy nights. The hood is pushed back, revealing his face, which is heavily made up. He looks like some sort of demon or spirit, his skin a deep blue-grey, like a stormy sky. His ears are pointed, and set back and high along his head. His face is thin, and comes almost to a muzzle, complete with ivory fangs that show past black lips. His hair is black and short, slightly wavy, and somewhat slicked back from his face, though there is no sign of gel used. Its almost as though he were standing in a strong wind. Beneath the cloak, he wears a plain dark grey tunic and black pants, over which are thigh-high black boots, heavily decorated with silver writings in some other language. His hands are the same grey-blue as his face, and end in long black claws, each of which has a rune written on it in red. Several silver rings are on various fingers, one with a dark blue gem set in it. Around his neck is an intricate silver chain, on which hangs a pendant consisting of a bronze claw gripping a crystal.
This guy has a semi-normal costume, though he himself is somehow altered, having a pleasent but slightly foxy face, quite attractive in his own way. His hair is gold-blond and glossy, short cut. He wears a black fedora, silver rivets along the sides in the shape of hearts. Clothingwise, he's got on plain dress shoes and black pants, along with a black dress shirt whose buttons are dark red and shaped like hearts. Over it, he wears a leather coat, with two red 'J's printed onto the front and back - one at each shoulder. The biker gloves with the heart-shaped silver studs pretty much top off the outfit.
This girl is tall, thin, and pale. How much of it is real and how much is effects and makeup is hard to say. Her skin is a luminescent silver-cream, and her silky hair is silver itself, flowing around her in an ethereal effect. Her eyes are large and somehow ancient, grey in colour, and soft as mist on the night sky. She wears a semi-medieval style gown, the top a sleek cream fabric, skintight, with long sleeves that come to a point at the hand and attach to her middle finger in that particular style. From the ends of the sleeves and down the side seams to the waist, gauze hangs, as white as moonlight and sheer as mist. They spread almost like wings and taper to her pale, cool hands. The skirt that flows down from the tapered waist is shimmering silver, with an overlay of white gauze that matches what hangs from her arms. Underneath it can just be seen her glittering silver slippers.
This woman is dressed up as Alice, from the book Alice in Wonderland. Besides the fact that she is rather taller than the little girl, there is one other striking difference: she is very, very dead. Her once-blond hair, held back by a ratty headband, is rough and matted, almost dusty in appearance. Her face is a greyish-white, and thin, like it were just skin stretched over bones. Her lips are thin and pale, and there are dark circles under her hollow eyes, which in themselves are lacking much color, clouded over with death. Her dress, possibly blue once, is a torn, decaying thing that barely keeps her decent, and her dusty white stockings have runs all down them. Her nails have become more like claws, making the dry, almost brittle hands even more strange-looking. Lastly, around her throat is wrapped a banadge, originally white, but now stained red-brown with dried blood.
This person is fairly human looking, at least, though not completely. His thick, oddly soft hair is a deep purple, looking almost like velvet. His skin is a light tone, though not pure white, and has a peculiar bluish sheen. His slanted eyes are metallic gold, with octagonal pupils. He is wearing a pair of tight green vinyl pants, which flare at the bottom over sleek, spacey-looking metal-cased shoes of some sort. No shirt, just a gold-color jacket that matches his eyes. It's open at the front, but he's in good enough shape to justify it - in costume, anyway.
This guy is dressed as a dragonfly. He is wearing iridescant green leggings, that have golden patches running down the sides. The green is patterned in an almost scaly way, and delicately curved golden blades slant down from along the gold patches. His shirt is a tight, matching green iridescant tanktop, with an iridescant blue front. Four dragonfly style wings are attatched to his back, clear with the veining and iridescance of dragonfly wings, amazingly enough. His gloves are a shimmering blue, and come up to the elbow, where there are a couple of tiny, curved blue blades, like miniature versions of those on the legs, on each glove. All his blades are flexible and blunted slightly, so as not to damage the furniture or other people. His hair is black, with green, blue and gold glitter combed through it. Wraparound sunglasses are on his face, with metallic green frames and faceted gold lenses. In his mouth are a set of impressive silver fangs, apparently to imitate the dragonfly's mandibles.
This person is dressed up as a gargoyle. The only real color in her costume is flecked stone grey. The outfit itself is composed of a long-sleeved turtleneck and leggings. On her feet are grey, pawlike shoes, clawed and apparently stone, though they're probably just imitation. A spiked, stonelike tail is attached to her, and she can move it, although stiffly. Grey gloves with stuffed fabric spikes and ridges are on her hands, and similar stuffed fabric details the costume itself. Her face has either been altered, or she has a professionally-done makeup job. The front is pulled forward in a snarling muzzle, complete with stone fangs. Her eyes appear sunken back, with heavy stone ridges above them. Her ears are pointed and set higher and farther back than a human's, and two elegant horns adorn the top of her skull. Her eyes are a stoney grey, just as the rest of her outfit is.
This female is a semi-generic 'creature of the night'. Her costume consists of a satiny, dark purple top, with a squared-off neckline and long, flared sleeves. She also wears a tight black miniskirt, apaprently made of several layers of black mesh. Underneath this are spiderweb-weave fishnets, and on her feet, pointed black stiletto-heeled boots. Her skin is pale, near-white, and her fingernails are clawlike, painted wine red. Her lips are the same wine red, and she has fangs like a vampire. Grey eyes are darkly edged, and her hair is black and long, blowing in the slightest air current like it was a night breeze. Around her neck hangs a celtic knot on a black velvet cord.
This female is dressed as a lamia, a human-busted snake. The main bit of her outfit is a dress, with a very low, curved neckline that just barely keeps her decent. The dress is made of red snakeskin-style vinyl material, very tight, long-sleeved and reaching to her ankles. On her feet, over snakeskin-patterned tights, are red snakeskin stiletto-heeled pumps to match the dress. Gloves of the same stretchy, scaley material as the dress come over her sleeves up to the elbow. From the neckline up, she is entirely human female - and plenty of it. Thick, glossy black hair falls to her shoulderblades, but does nothing to obscure that which is NOT obscured by the front of the dress. She has a pretty face, though obviously she chose it herself, as it doesn't look like any lounge person. Her skin is fair without looking too pale against the black hair, and her eyes are green, with dark eyelashes. The only dischord in the alluring female face is the pair of snake's fangs, that barely show their white tips against her burgundy lipstick.
This girl is dressed as Bastet, the egyption goddess. The cossie is rather Cats-style, a shiny black unitard, black elbow gloves and black jazz shoes. The headpiece is similar to the siamese wigs, just a black mesh with some very short fur and ears. Her face is painted black, and her eyes dark green, with cat slit pupils. Gold eye makeup gives her an 'exotic' look, and more gold makeup defines her muzzle. A gold collar, fringed with those little gold bar-shapes is around her neck, and a tail-ring in the shape of an asp coils around her tail, which the costume wearer can move at will, just like a real cat tail.
This person's costume is some sort of night creature. The main bit of the costume is a furred, grey-brown unitard. On her head is a wig of thick black fur, which fluffs out over her shoulders and upper back in a sort of ruff. Attached are two long, lynxlike, tufted ears. Her face is mostly human, but with red, slanted eyes that have snakeslit pupils, and long white fangs in her mouth. On her hands she wears grey cloth gloves with the fingertips cut off, and long black claws show through. As for footwear, she has brown jazz-shoe-like imitation paws. Black claws are fixed to these as well as her hands. To finish the piece, a long, bushy grey-brown tail flicks behind her.
The main part of this guy's costume is a shiny, electric blue unitard. White lightning crackles all across it, not on the surface but more in the fabric, like the unitard were a screen the lightning was being shown on. He wears black silky gloves on his hands, and on his feet are stylized black leather boots, the stiletto heels made of steel and bolted on. His hair, or more likely wig, is long, fluffy and black, falling around his shoulders like a mane. His face is covered in shiny black makeup, and made out to have a slight muzzle. This, combined with the hair, gives him a rather lionish look. His narrow eyes are pure black pits, reflecting no light at all, but seem to go on forever.
This guy's tiger costume is fairly simple, really - a furred unitard, striped in a very natural-looking way with a white chest. The headpiece is like that of a Cats wig, but of course in the same oranges, browns and blacks as the unitard. His eyes are a dark green, and glitter like the stone known as tigerseye, amazingly enough. A tail twitches and flicks behind him, apparently under his control. Over all this, he's wearing a slashed-up leather jacket, biker gloves, and black leather combat boots.
This costumed person is obviously female, as the dress that makes up the main body of the outfit is sleeveless and quite low cut. The dress itself is slinky black material, falling to her ankles, though it is slit to her thigh on one side. On the front is an hourglass-shaped patch of blood red, emphasizing her feminine figure. On her feet are black leather pumps, and on her hands are elbow-length black lace gloves with the fingertips removed. Her hair is black and long, and on her head she wears a circlet of twisted black metal, from which hangs a long veil of grey gauze, with black spiderwebs stiched into it.
This girl's costume represents a star. The main part of the costume is a unitard. It's such a shiny silver, it looks like chrome. It covers her hands and feet, and a tight, attatched hood makes the only thing visible her face. God only knows how she put it on. Over the unitard she wears a long dress, with long, flared sleeves. The dress itself is entirely transparent, iridescant white gauze, with little glittering crystals sewn on. Affixed to her back are a pair of wings, each individual feather made from silver and incredibly detailed.
This guy's costume is an interesting piece of work. He's wearing black leather motorbiker pants, thick and heavy, with what looks like barbed wire wrapped around them. Blue flames run up the wires, but affect nothing else. He has a black leather biker jacket on, and a ripped grey t-shirt underneath it. Bloody gashes show under the shirt. Across the back of the jacket is emblazened a silver logo in the shape of a mushroom cloud. Around his wrists and neck are bands of spiked leather, and on his feet are equally spiked boots, with metal shrapnel embedded in the rubber soles. His face, and, for that matter, the rest of his head is obscured by a black, scarred motorcycle helmet.
This is a very heavy-looking costume indeed. His chest is covered in chain mail, armor segments on his shoulders, arms, and legs. He wears no helmet. Around his waist is a thick leather belt, on which hangs a scabbard. The sword in it is very rusted. In fact, all the armor looks rusted and old. But still able to hold up. His gloves have segments of rusty armor on them as well, for protection when sword-fighting. His mask is simple, a piece of metal twisted around his face with holes for his eyes and a few miniscule holes for breathing.
The main part of this costume, of course, is the long white number (cannot think of the name), decorated with tiny jewels down the edges and such. His face is obscured by makeup so much that he doesn’t need a mask. His skin is golden, exactly like a perfect tan. His eyes are striking: pure white, with vivid black pupils. On his feet are wooden sandals, which appear comfortable.
The main part of this costume is a long, flowing gown made out of some flowing, elegant material that could be water and behaves the same way – only, obviously, it’s solid. The torso part of the gown is black, an inky black that extends onto the long, loose sleeves that have artfully torn cuffs. The bottom part of the gown, flowing past her feet, is a gorgeous midnight blue. This gown appears to have been sprinkled with metallic dust, or something similar, as both the fabric and the “dust” shines. Her shoes are tall black high heels, somehow managing to be modest and elegant at the same time. Her skin is very tanned, and it goes very well with her rich black hair. Her mask is mostly made out of varnished, polished wood. The top of the mask is clear, and so is the bottom, making the middle wood only. The clear bits are filled with sand – well, the top part is, anyway. Dark purple sand that flows down into the bottom clear part, just like an hourglass. On her hands are a pair of long black evening gloves, with the tips of the fingers cut off.
The main part of this costume is the 50s style black suit. His tie is perfectly done, as if done by machine. His shoes are very sharp, dressy without being insanely so. He’s most likely wearing his sunglasses, with a neutral expression. Very plain, but very stylized. On his wrist is the Hamilton watch, kept up to time perfectly. Who knows what else he’s hiding. His mask is his sunglasses, and he appears to have made it so you can guess it that way. Magic, most likely. His hair is very, very tidy, and a chestnut brown in color.
A costume that was spent a lot of time on, and it shows. The yards of black shroud are soft black velvet, a dark aura around it. The armor is gleaming, very polished, and it seems to glow faintly. They, of course, need no mask—the hood is so large, the shadow it casts so dark, that the face of this person is hidden even if light were shown in. The costume being the way it is, it’s hard to tell what gender this being is.
This costume consists of a long, flowing blue shirt of a midnight blue, light grey slacks, and a very long emerald, crushed-velvet cloak with hood. His mask is a feathered thing, black feathers tipped with metallic silver. His shoes are tall, elegant boots, also black and very polished, with metal soles. His cloak seems to move, pulse, like an ocean, the fabric shining like a reflection off water if light hits it just right.
The main part of this is a satin dress, slim and form fitting, which is crimson red in color. The collar is ringed with gold-tipped red feathers, and she wears a long scarf around her middle that is gold satin. For shoes she has high heels, made of crimson red leather, which appear perilous to walk in. But she appears to manage, with a flair. Her mask is red and gold, twisted into itself. Her hair appears as if every single hair is made of pure gold. It's dulled slightly, so it doesn't blind anyone who looks at it, but it still looks striking.
This costume is so mismatched, all it can be called is a rock star cossie. His shirt is a black tank top, with the front dominated by white, gothy designs of undeterminable origin. The pants are black leather, and very form-fitting. His boots are tall, and are the semi-lace-up type. On his arms and any exposed bits of flesh are many tattoos—black roses, full moons, wolves, snakes, dragons, and skulls. Piercings riddle his ear, nearly going down the entirety of them. Around his shoulders is a brown suede jacket, and the style would be elegant if numerous sayings (with a lot of bad language) weren’t stitched into it. His hair is wild and untamed—there’s a lot of it, black in color, and it goes in ever direction it can on certain parts. Spiked, gelled, and just plain molded in certain areas. Meanwhile, his mask is a sort of Goth-Alaskan. If that’s a way of describing it. The colors are aquamarine, red, white, and black. It seems to be the mask of an eagle or wolf.
The main part of this costume is a loose, dark brown shirt, made of satin. His pants are of the same color and material, only very tight. Covering his face is a pseudo-Hyena mask; the eyes bulging with laughing or death, the colors on the lips a dark red while the rest of it is a light brown. Protruding from his pants is a long, fluffy Hyena tail. He has apparently configured his hair, and it now hangs down and goes down his neck exactly like a Hyena’s mane. He wears thick leather gloves, which are somehow very paw-like. His shoes are dark brown shoes of some kind, either casual or otherwise, and they seem to give the illusion of paws. Around his neck is a gleaming silver chain, like a pseudo guard dog.
This gown is very modern in style. The little-black-dress sort of thing. Only, it isn’t black. The fabric is a glistening silver-black, which is as cold as ice to the touch and feels alluringly like satin. A big of chest is exposed, but not a lot. Her sleeves are completely see-through, silver with black lines of a spider web design. Around her waist is a thick scarf-type thing, light grey in color, and one end gracefully glows to her feet, but is just high enough so she doesn’t trip. Her shoes are lace-up high heels, black (of course). Around her neck is a simple accessory, a silver chain. On the chain is an ebony spider pendant, very pseudo-Goth. This brings us to her mask: It’s a silver affair, metallic in color, shaped like a particularly twisted leaf. Her hair is long and black, flowing like silk down to her shoulder blades. Her skin is very luminous and pale, putting emphasis on the very unusual dress she wears.
The costume is exactly Jack’s. A pinstriped suit and bat bow tie, the shoes a simple black shoe that neither adds to the costume nor takes away. His skin is pure white, like bones, and the knuckles have been painted black to give it a skeletony sort of look. His face paint, while elaborate, appears simple. He appears to not have eyes, but eye sockets, thanks to a great amount of shading and such. There’re eyes in there somewhere. This gives him no need for a mask.
This costume’s main point is a full-length crushed velvet cloak, complete with hood. The color of it is a luminous silver, the hem decorated with black stitching of quarter moons and stars. Under it is a simple, black belted robe. His feet are encased in thick black traveling boots, finely polished. His mask is a celestial-type thing, dark purple and black in background colors with gold full moons and comets. In his hand is a long staff of polished ebony, a clear, pointed crystal on one end. The smell of incense is heavily about him.
This woman has skin as pale as moonlight, and long black hair. She wears a simple long dress, black in color, with a scoop neck. Her pale fingers are tipped with long, black-painted nails. Her eyes are slitted and red, either contacts or something magical—or something natural. On her feet is a pair of black high heels. Her teeth are very long, and intensely fang-like. Her mask is a black thing, rather old-fashioned in shape, with a crest of feathers on one side, her unusual eyes framed by small eyeslits.
This is a curious mix of punk, street, and nightclub wear. He is male, extremely thin, and semi-tall. He wears a black tank top, exposing pale white skinned arms with numerous tattoos, and the front of the top depicts a very gothic and gory skull. His mask is metal and thin, the corners jagged and sharp with some demonic eyeslits for when he wishes to see :) . His ears are pierced in many places, with a varying variety of earrings. For pants he has long shorts, dark grey in color, with a black leather belt that is studded chaotically. His right leg, pale as all hell like the left and his arms, has a snake tattoo that looks like it wraps around several times, the head of the reptile hooded, with large and demonic eyes. His boots are a thick sole with two strips of leather going up the sides of his shins, the rest of the boot consisting of lacing. His hair is dark brown and is in a haircut that suggests wild fashion taste: gelled and spiked, sticking out in odd directions on the top of his head.
The main part of this costume is a dress, and it’s very thin. The shape is somewhat form-fitting, but her curves are slightly disguised but the fact that very old, ancient paper has been applied to it artfully, wrapped around. Her mask is an Egyptian thing, pure gold with set diamonds and other precious stones. The eyeholes are very small, letting you see only a black eye. On her hands are some paper-type gloves, which go down to her elbows.
This costume is dainty, if a bit morbid. The main thing about her is a simple grey dress, upon which grey fur has been sewn lightly onto. Her mask is a cat mask, but the eyes are, almost comically, glassy and bulged. Her hair has obviously been dyed grey as well, but in truth it’s a silver-white. Two mangled cat ears poke out of the hair. On her hands are clawed evening gloves, pure white in color. Her feet are simple white high heels.
This person is female, and she gives you no doubt about it. She wears a strapless top, made of black vinyl, the stitches white and gothy. Her mask seems to have inspired by very wild sunglasses, as it has that look—but somehow covers most of her face; in color it is metallic silver. She also wears a miniskirt, made of black leather. Her shoes are a pair of extremely tall black vinyl boots with high heels. Her hair is a fiery red, gelled back flat on her head. Hanging from her ears is a pair of silver fang earrings. Around her neck is a small silver chain, with a black skull pendant. Her dark wear contrasts greatly with her pale skin.
For a top she wears a crushed velvet blouse, light green in color, with wide and flowing sleeves. On top of her head is an Elven Princess’ crown. She wears a skirt, made of velvet as well, that goes all the way to the ground and drags a bit. In color it’s a rich light brown, and it is fastened around the waist with a silver belt in the shape of leaves. For shoes she wears simple white dress slippers, made of silk. Her hair is a very light blonde that flows elegantly down her back, like a section of silk. It sparkles, almost in a cliché fashion, in the slightest light.
She wears a skirt of light, soft, pale pink silk, wide pieces of fabric overlapping from an elastic, light green waistband to form a full skirt that drapes smoothly down to the ground, so that the hem covers her feet - which are, for the record, attired in light pink ballet slippers, silk ribbons laced up her legs. The blouse which covers her upper body is made of very light, impossibly soft pale green cloth of some kind, like really good Angoran wool, almost cloud-like in it's fluffiness. It's tucked into the waistband of her skirt, but fluffs out slightly around her upper body, hiding her figure. The neckline is a quite low cut, however, and the whole thing is off the shoulder, so the looseness of the shirt does very little good for that purpose. The blouse's sleeves are a variation on the Garibaldi style; despite being unattached to the rest of her shirt they are first tight around her upper arm to hold them on, then baggy and puffy until the wrist, at which they suddenly tighten, buttoned with dark green, shiny jewels. Her hands are clothed in dark green lace gloves, and around her shoulders is a very delicate fringed shawl of the same spiderweb material, knotted at the front. Around her neck is a choker, dark green leather with sharp, nasty-looking spikes of some odd, shimmery green metal. The viciously spiked collar contrasts greatly with her overall angelic appearence, which is only added to by the mask, a delicate, pale pink creation made of silver wire draped with primrose pink chiffon and held to the face by a long piece of wood, entwined with ribbons of varying shades of silk. The mask also has strings of pink pearls dangling from it. The female's hair is long, falling straight to her waist, and soft, like a pure white cloud - that's the colour it is. A headband, about an inch wide, of four rows of tiny white and pink (alternating) pearl beads holds it back from her face.
This female is wearing pants and a shirt, one of the few to be garbed in something so normal. However, the design printed on the clothes isn't very normal - her flair-hemmed jazz-style trousers are a harlequin-esque motley, with the left leg white and the right black. Her shirt is, first of all, a tight, sleek tube top in a black-and-white checkerboard pattern, the fabric something shiny but soft. Covering her arms are what appear to be sleeves cut off of a shirt, or possibly non-fluffy arm warmers. They're basically tubes of the same stretchy, glossy fabric as the torso-covering part, stretching over her arms from the wrists to about halfway up her forearms. Like her pants, these sleeves are in a motley, but alternating from the trousers, with the right sleeve being the white one, and the left black. Her hands are bare, not gloved like so many other Halloween-goers, but her fingernails are painted in alternating black and white. Her shoes are leather boots, something like the kind you'd usually see attached to ice skating blades, but without the sharp metal bit on the bottom. Again, the right is white and the left black in colour. Her face is painted in a black and white harlequin pattern, a checkerboard of alternating squares. Her eyes have been altered, most likely by contact lenses, with her left eye white and her right eye black, both their respective shade from edge to edge with no pupil. Her hair is short, black irregularly streaked with white and gelled into spikes. Around her neck is a thin chain, the links alternating black and white metal, from which hangs a chess piece - the white queen.
A dress is the centerpiece of this costume, slim and form-fitting with a slightly flared skirt. The fabric seems to be made out of a shimmering illusion, the light dancing on it almost painfully. Its color is undeterminable, but it looks closest to being cream-colored, when the light isn't shining directly on it. On her hands, long fingerless gloves of the same materal, studded along the top. Her mask looks hard to put on, the material like glowing neon. In different color strands, it runs along her face in the shape of a full face mask. Her hair is an unnatural red-gold, glossy, curly locks elegent without being too showy. For shoes on this costume, she was tall high-heeled boots of white leather, and around her waist is a belt made out of chain links, like the links of a fence along a deserted highway.
The clothing items on this costume are furred, like a Snow Leopard's pelt. The fabric and fur are a dazzling pure white. As is the rest of his clothing, from his slacks to his dress shirt. Over this is a long white velvet coat with tails, the cuffs large and old fashioned. His shoes are your typical dance, paw-imitation shoes, and he looks quite awkward in them. His white mask is a cat thing, with slanted eyeslits and whiskers. The whole thing covers his face marvelously. On his hands are gloves that are imitating paws, the claws retractable.
