The End of Silverado
And Other Tragedies of Sand

Written by Kalliroscope, April 2002

Silverado, I am
coming, and my
heart is swiftly humming
I am waiting for you land of
my last recalled desires.

Silverado, I am
needing, and my
mind is too unheeding
it won't listen to my mem'ries
of the ancient desert fires.

Silverado, I am
losing, and my
thoughts are gently cruising
they are swirling on the sandstorm
deceitfully filled with briars.

Silverado, I am
dying, and my
soul is sadly crying
I can hear your sirens calling
but their songs are sung by liars.
