Bombalurina is, in every production I know of, a red, black, and white queen. Her unitard is red base with black rosettes and a white bib - her tail is black, red, and white striped - and her wig the same. She tends to be one of the taller queens, but it's not necessary. Bombalurina sings a lot, including Bustopher Jones, Macavity: The Mystery Cat, and The Old Gumbie Cat, but does not herself have a song.
She is a very flirtatatious queen, very sexy - and she flirts with pretty much everyone in the show (I've seen Munkustrap, the Rum Tum Tugger, Alonzo, Plato, Pouncival, and Tumblebrutus, to name but a few).
Cats she seems to have relationships with, and theories about that relationship:
- Demeter - This relationship is based in canon - but whether Dem and Bomba are sisters, friends, or even mates is a matter of hot debate among fans. My opinion is on the friends, with the thought that Dem/Bomba slash fics could be much fun to write. ^_^;;
- Macavity - Bomba and Macca definitely have some kind of relationship, but people are divided on what it is. Some say they were mates for a while, but then Bomba returned to the tribe. Some say that Bombalurina works for Macavity. Some say she was kidnapped by Macavity, like Demeter. Some say Macavity works for Bombalurina (well, okay, this one's mainly Millhaven and a few fics...) I don't have a set opinion, myself.
- Rum Tum Tugger - Some people say mates... some say they just flirt like mad with one another. I'll reserve opinion on this. From all productions - video, Troika tour, London... it's pretty much canon.
