The Jellicle Limericks
by Kalliroscope
This is pretty easy to explain. It's just some limericks I wrote one day, whilst I was supposed to be cleaning the house. I want to do one for every cat... same concept as with the Not What We Appear cycle, but, uh... well, this one I hope I'll actually do. *sg*
Actually, I am working on a new NWWA poem, but... anyway, that's neither here nor there. It's waaay over there. *points to the NWWA page* And I want to talk about my limericks.
There's nothing more to say, just read 'em!
There once was a Jellicle Cat
Who liked to wear nice white spats
At twenty-five pounds
He was terribly round
In fact, he's remarkably fat!
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
There once was a cat named Jenny
Whose fur was the hue of a penny
In the Beetles' Tattoo
Her errors were few
But the roaches' mistakes, they were many!
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
There once was a Jellicle kitty
Whose fur was so soft and so pretty
It shone beautifully white
As she danced through the night
In a dark junkyard deep in the city.
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
There once was a Siamese Cat
She was flexible and all of that
Her name, it was Cassie
And she sure was sassy
When she flirted, her eyes she would bat!
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
There once was a queen named Bom
Her personality was a maelstrom
'I love only you' said
The queen in the red
But she said it to more than one tom!
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
There once were two Jellicle twins
Who never committed sins
Telepathic were they
They were black, blue and grey
And they didn't like rows, fights or dins.
Up, Up, Up to the Limericks List
